Philippine Flag Raised

Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce [MFCC] Leo Agcolicol [center] assisted by Maui County Council Chair Danny Mateo and Mayor Charmaine Tavares prepare to raise the Philippine flag for the first time. This event happened at the front lawn of the Maui County building last October 1st in observance of October as Filipino-American History Month throughout Maui County as started in the proclamation read by Mayor Tavares. There was a crowd of Filipinos and friends who gathered and witnessed the event.
