DIBEA LAPID was crowned Miss Maui Filipina 2010

Nursing student Dibea Lapid was crowned Miss Maui Filipina 2010 during the 51st Miss Maui Filipina Scholarship Pageant. She bested four other candidates: Abigail Blando, 4th runner-up; Shannel Ulep, 3rd runner -up; Whitney Acoba, 2nd runner-up, and Kaila Custer, 1st runner-up. 

She was selected as Miss Photogenic and garnered  Best in Terno Speech and Best in Pre-Pageant Interview. She's pursuing a nursing degree at the University of Hawaii Maui College. 

She  traces her roots from Leyte and Ilocos Norte.
