Filipino leaders and Maui county officials with Philippine Senator Pia Cayetano

Filipino leaders and  Maui county officials held a  dinner reception in honor of Philippine Senator Pia Cayetano(center with lei) who visited the island recently. She shared one of her initiatives in the Philippines about  her  "Let's Read Program" aimed at promoting literacy among young children. She also thanked the generosity of the local Filipino community. The reception was sponsored by succesful business entrepreneur Dana Pastula who owns and operates Cafe O Lei restaurants.
